• Casa Zollo II •
Small but fine one-room apartment - very cuddly, great for lovers of panoramic views ...
... and with a 180-year-old ceiling beam - the last visible relic of a traditional log house
that once stood here, and from which we had to part because wind and worms had knocked it out.
Via the terrace ...
... we enter the one-room apartment.
The look back at the entrance.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.
A look from a different perspective ...
... and another on the double bed.
The shower room with washing machine.
From the terrace you look down into the valley for miles.
In the courtyard ...
... also uninvited guests feel comfortable.
The second terrace ...
... with brick barbeque ...
... is mainly reserved for guests from the main house ...
but with a little understanding ...
... so far nothing spoke against sharing of this place.
The second garden, with parking lot, extends up to the hills.
Casa Zollo, shortly after completion in 2014 ...
... in winter with some Christmas lights.
A view from the alley ...
... and a last one from the meadows below the village.

We stroll a few steps through the village of Vale
____________________________________________________________
After a view from the village bridge ...
... we approach the village square.
A neighbor lives here, offering eggs, canned vegetables, homemade jams and zacuska ...
... and here two procured a slightly different food for the winter.
The village road leads up ...
... past the Orthodox Church.
The village is now mostly under us ...
... and somewhere there a native sloth snors to the beat of a woodpecker.
